I was born and raised in Tampa. I graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 1995 and was a member of the elite Stetson Trial Team, which has been ranked in the top echelon in the nation throughout the years by US News and World Report. As a member of the trial team, I prepared in great detail for the art of litigation. The team traveled all over the country competing in mock trials and was well recognized for its litigation strength and superiority.
I have since experienced a record of success as a trial attorney in cases throughout the Tampa area. Although many of my cases — like most in the United States — settle before trial, my strength in litigation is what drives these favorable settlements. Clients often ask what will happen if their personal injury or consumer fraud case goes to trial. They wonder if I will be the one representing them. As a solo practitioner, I work directly with my clients and I do not hand off their cases to another lawyer if the case goes to trial.
Well respected in the legal community, I am active in the Tampa area. I am a member of the Brandon Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Bar Association, the Brandon Bar Association, the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association and the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
