1978-1986: Real Estate broker with the Hood Corp. and The Allen Morris Co.  Focus in commercial and investment real estate. President and managing broker for the Hood Corp. 

Affiliations and Community Involvement: Active member of the Florida Bar, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, Brandon Bar, National Association Of Consumer Advocates.  President of S.T.O.P.  for Hillsborough County chapter, (Stop Turning Out Prisoners), a Florida grass roots citizens group formed to stop the early release of habitual and violent offenders. Past officer of the Brandon Bar Association.
